Frequently Asked Questions

What types of structures can you inspect?

We inspect a wide range of infrastructure assets including bridges, viaducts, tunnel portals and shafts, signal gantries, OHLE masts, retaining walls and culverts.

Are your teams certified for high-risk and confined spaces?

Yes. Our inspectors hold IRATA rope access certification and are qualified for high-risk confined space entry and rescue.

What’s the difference between a visual and a detailed inspection?

Visual inspections are typically surface-level checks performed annually to track defects. Detailed inspections involve tactile examination, photography, dimensional data, corrosion mapping and full condition reporting. Usually done every 1–12 years depending on risk.

Can you operate during rail possessions or shutdowns?

Absolutely. Our rope access methods are ideal for tight windows like night possessions or shutdowns. We minimise equipment setup and disruption to surrounding operations.

Do you provide reports and recommendations?

Yes. Every inspection concludes with a structured digital report including photographic evidence, risk categorisation, and where appropriate recommendations for repairs or further action.
